Shri Ashok Saxena holds a degree in B.Sc Engg ( Mechanical Engg) from Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), having attained it in 1968. He was the First Secretary of Indian Embassy in Moscow from 1984 to 1988. As a diplomat promoted Indo Soviet co-operation in the field of Aviation industry, negotiated Governmental protocols, contracts etc., related to the aviation industry.
He is the ex-MD of Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd, Bangalore.
He is also the Director of Bangalore Aerospace consultants and also the Chairperson the Expert Committee in Aviation and Aerospace at Bangalore Chamber of Industry & Commerce at Bangalore.
