Shri M K Mishra, General Manager, Aerospace Division, HAL is leading a team actively involved for production & integration of spaceworthy launching vehicle hardware for PSLV, GSLV MK-II & GSLV – MK III and satellite structures.

Shri M K Mishra is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering and holds master’s degree from llT Chennai in Aircraft Production Engineering. Shri Mishra joined HAL, as Management Trainee in 1987 and currently is the Business Head at Aerospace Division, HAL, Bangalore. During his career spanning more than 31 years in HAL, he has worked in various projects at HAL’s Production Divisions with product portfolios comprising of manufacturing of both engines & aircraft. He also served at HAL Corporate Office, Bangalore as head of international marketing.

Shri Mishra has extensive experiences of working in various functions such as Planning, Manufacturing, Assembly, exports & Project Management. He also has rich experience in international marketing dealing with international cooperation, strategic alliances, marketing intelligence & analysis, exports & Indian defence offset programme.

Shri Mishra has recently worked on a special assignment, as project head, for development of civil version of 19 seater Do-228 aircraft for deployment under Govt. of India “ UDDAN “ initiative. The project has been successfully completed by obtaining both design & production certification approval from Indian Civil certification Agency, DGCA, India.

Currently as General Manager, Shri Mishra is steering the technical team for augmenting technical facilities & developing capabilities for various new projects and initiatives including for manufacturing of Cryogenic & Semi-cryogenic engines, Stage integration activities for PS2/GS2.
