Mr. Ujjwal Dey was born on 20th July 1979 at Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. He did his early education from the Kendriya Vidyalaya. He did his Post Graduation in Economics from the Himachal Pradesh University and his Economics (Hons) from the Delhi University. He has also obtained his diploma in Paralegal Practice from the School of Law, Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi.

He also Participated in the program on “Revenue Management and Dynamic Pricing” conducted by Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad in New Delhi and Attended the 35 PDUs/ Contact Hours (PMP Program – Course ID-KW/PMP01), New Delhi.

He has been extending his services to many industries varying from the Indian Collection Centers (Written off debt by the US Telecom Giants), Creating and conducting International Exhibitions & Conferences. He also extended his services as an Editor in the Editorial Department of the Economics, History, Medical, and Law Lists for the Oxford University Press (OUP).

Mr. Ujjwal Dey joined the Federation of Indian Airlines (FIA) in 2007 in the capacity of Sr.Executive Officer. FIA is an apex industry body, which has been formed by the scheduled carriers in India. It acts as the voice of India’s airline industry that works to identify and take up issues on behalf of the industry, with various regulatory authorities, government departments and other key stake-holders.

Mr. Ujjwal Dey has been appointed as the Associate Director of FIA from 2013 and till today he has been in service of FIA, addressing a collaborative growth-agenda for the industry and focussing on Inter-airline cooperation across different issues. He has been working along with all the relevant govt bodies of India and abroad to fullfill the object of creating a sustainable & Affordable Aviation sector for the country.
