Rachit Bhatnagar has a vast experience in all the sub- sectors of Aerospace and Aviation management and Skilling domains.
Rachit holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineer from NIT Karnataka (erstwhile REC Surathkal). He has also undergone an Armed Force Programme in General Management from MDI Gurgaon.
Rachit is the second Chief Executive Officer of Aerospace and Aviation Sector Skill Council (AASSC). AASSC is the apex skilling body in the emerging Aerospace and Aviation sector. The promoters of the company are Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Bangalore Chamber of Industry & Commerce and Society of Indian Aerospace Technologies & Industries. It has been formed under the Government and industry led initiative of skilling Indian labour force through National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC).
On completing his graduation, Rachit joined a Private firm as G.E.T for a year before joining Indian Air Force as a Commissioned Officer in the Technical Branch. He led many technical teams for maintenance operations, rescue missions and also Training & Skill Development activities during his service at IAF. Highlights of his IAF journey are the high altitude tenure at Ladakh region where he took part in Siachen Glacier activities besides a two-year deputation as CEO of IAF Training Team to Namibian Defence Force.
He worked as a Head Business Development at umlaut & BridgeNow Academy before joining as CEO at AASSC. He successfully implemented a unique 100% job- linked and fully sponsored Defence veterans’ training initiative in collaboration with a funding partner.
