A Graduate in Law, Masters in Business Administration, and trained in Premier Management Institutes, Sandeep is a professional with over 33 years of experience spanning the whole gamut of Human Resource Management (HRM).

Currently donning the responsibilities of GM (HR)-Helicopter Complex & GM (Skill Development) at HAL, he is also the Chairman of HAL Education Society.

Identified to spearhead Skill Development Unit of HAL, he has been instrumental in formulating the Company’s Skill Development Policy with a focus on improving quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Under his leadership, key initiatives have been undertaken for bridging skill-gap with functional analysis, identifying & developing job roles, and implementing TWI (Training Within Industry) methodology in vital areas of Manufacturing, Assembly, and Maintenance of Rotary and Fixed Wing Aircrafts.

During his tenure, HAL has been awarded by the Hon’ble Prime Minister for engaging the maximum number of apprentices. HAL has also been awarded Gold Trophy by Hon’ble Minister of Skill Development 2017 & 2018, consecutively. During the Kaushalacharya Samadar 2020, HAL has been awarded with Kaushalacharya Award.

Starting his career as a Management Trainee (HR) in Hindustan Zinc Ltd (HZL), Sandeep brings to table, rich and vivid experience from the Mining and Aerospace Sector.

He actively engages with academia and is a life member of Professional Bodies such as NHRD and NIPM.
