Our Vision

The vision of Aerospace and Aviation Sector Skill Council is to bridge the gap between demand and supply of skilled manpower in the sector in segments like Design & Development, Aerospace Manufacturing, Maintenance Repair & Overhaul (MRO), Airline Operations and Airports. In order to achieve this ambitious target, AASSC will involve all stakeholders – Government, companies, regulatory bodies, research establishments, academic institutes and training providers. The vision will be achieved through preparation of occupational map, formulation of National Occupational Standards, setting up skill delivery mechanisms through affiliated training providers and creation of accreditation bodies leading to certification of fresh trainees and retraining, in order to ensure horizontal and vertical mobility of skilled manpower in to the aerospace and aviation sector in India.
